This essential oil comes from the rind of the fruit. Macroptere (Citrus macroptera) is genetically related to combava.
Our oil is extracted from the yellowing fruit in December/January in Portugal. The essential oil is composed of limonene and caryophyllene which gives it a rich and spicy note.
